Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Papers must be submitted in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. The submitted paper must be an original work, unpublished and not submitted to other publication media.
  2. The treatment of the topic and its content must be of multidisciplinary interest with a focus on sustainable social responsibility.
  3. The work must show due academic rigor in the methodological approach, in the use of pertinent information and in the precision of the object of analysis.
  4. Preference will be given to multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary works, of interest to a wide audience in various areas, among other human activities leading to sustainable development.
  5. The work must be unpublished and novel. In addition, it should not be submitted for publication simultaneously in other journals or editorial bodies, as this will be a reason for the article to be removed from the editorial process.
  6. The writing should be clear, precise and definitive, without exaggerated use of specialized vocabulary specific to a particular field.
  7. The length of the article should not exceed 15,000 words, including citations and notes. In addition, the font of the article should be Arial (without exception) and size 12 (except for the title and authors of the article, whose size is specified in the following lines).
  8. You should not use specific word processor commands to list notes or bibliography. These sections should be included as part of the text.
  9. As part of the sections of the article, a summary of no more than 200 words should be included, with its respective Abstract, and no more than 5 and no less than 3 keywords or descriptors.
  10. Capitalization of each key word is indifferent, except for proper nouns.
  11. Citations and references should be presented according to the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style.
  12. The descriptors or keywords assigned to the contributions should be in accordance with the Unesco Thesaurus.
  13. Any consultation can be sent to the e-mail publicaciones@revistaree.org; and it is necessary that in your message you include the name of the article, names and surnames of the author, academic degree, institutional affiliation and e-mail to which you wish to be contacted.

General Aspects and Warnings


- The Editorial Committee informs those interested that the fact of confirming the receipt of manuscripts does not imply their acceptance for publication, since the Editorial Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee's opinion is necessary to link the relevance of the manuscript with the objectives of the journal Realidades Educativas Entrelazadas.
- The materials are considered submitted from the date on which the author sends the complete application of his/her material, that is, when his/her application complies with all the guidelines specified in this site of the journal. 
- All materials are submitted to a double-blind peer review process, with reviewers external to the publishing institution, both foreign and national.
- The journal Realidades Educativas Entrelazadas does not charge any kind of economic fee for the reception, processing and/or publication of the articles submitted.
